A Watery Day

Left our campsite and headed back into Litchfield without any more trouble with the van. Made lots of stops at waterfalls and plunge pools. The best one was Wangi Falls where we both had a lovely swim and then morning tea of coffee scones, jam and cream.

We also did a few walks and one was a rather small version of Emma Gorge with some scrambling over rocks, but only a little. It was still a bit of a challenge though. We then had some dry biscuits and cheese at another little park and I sat in the water although it wasn't very deep.

Leaving Litchfield we travelled 30 Kms on a Fairly rough dirt track and then back onto the highway. Our last stop was the beautiful Berry Springs which we had visited when we were last in Darwin where we had another beautiful swim in the warm water.

We were really both rather tired and over the van so we decided to stay in a cabin for the last night where we repacked our bags and cleaned the inside of the vehicle ready for return tomorrow. We had dinner in the cabin and watched some TV, a rather rare event lately and then slept in a real bed!
