3 hour flight to Perth was beautifully smooth. Took taxi to hotel and were surprised by the beautiful expanses of parklands and trees everywhere. Lovely spacious apartment with simple cooking facilities. Bought some supplies in local supermarket and then had dinner in hotel's dining room where the one guy had to do the lot - serve drinks, take orders, run the public bar and serve meals.
It was a rather long day as we wound our clocks back 1 1/2 hours.
